The Standard Celeration Society (SCS)

The Standard Celeration Society (SCS)  is the society that "...promotes use of the Standard Celeration Chart, both for furthering the science of behavior and of learning, as well as for developing practical applications based on that science..."

Each November The Society sponsors the INTERNATIONAL PRECISION TEACHING CONFERENCE (IPTC) where researchers, students and PT enthusiasts can share their work and attend workshops on the latest in PT.

The SCS also publishes the JOURNAL OF PRECISION TEACHING AND CELERATION (JPTC).

Origins of the Standard Celeration Society.

The Standard Celeration Society began as The International Precision Learning/Precision Teaching Committee, which formed on April 23, 1985.

On March 23, 1992, at the PT conference in Park City, Utah, the name of the organization was changed to The Standard Celeration Society. At that time an amendment for this title was filed with the state of Washington. The title, The Standard Celeration Society was formally recognized by the State of Washington on May 20, 1992.
